The Silverbacks knocked off Chattanooga 5-0 on Wednesday in the U.S. Open Cup to earn the right to host Real Salt Lake.

The Silverbacks will host the MLS side on June 14. The game is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.

This is the second time the Silverbacks have earned the right to host a team from the highest level of professional soccer in the U.S. Two years ago, they were supposed to host Seattle but sold the game back to the Sounders.

That practice has since been disallowed.

Atlanta defeated Chattanooga, an NPSL team, on Wednesday with two goals from Junior Burgos, and one each from Junior Sandoval, Jaime Chavez and Deon McCaulay.
