Here’s five things to know on Wednesday:

1. Dwight Howard traded to Charlotte

Atlanta Hawks center Dwight Howard was part of a trade with the Charlotte Hornets in Tuesday night. Howard and the Hawks' 31st overall pick in Thursday's 2017 NBA Draft were traded for Charlotte's Miles Plumlee, Marco Belineli and the 41st pick in the Draft.

2. Braves fall to Giants

After seven great innings by Julio Teheran, but with an eighth inning filled with three errors and five runs by the San Francisco Giants, the Braves lost 6-3. The third game of the four-game series with the Giants will begin at 7:35 p.m. on Wednesday night.

3. Bartolo Colon will stay on DL with back tightness

David O'Brien writes Braves pitcher Bartolo Colon will remain on the disabled list because of back stiffness. Colon was scheduled to pitch on Wednesday, but was scratched on Tuesday night.

4. O.J. Simpson parole hearing set for July

O.J. Simpson's parole hearing is scheduled for July 20, the Associated Press announced on Tuesday. Simpson, who could be released from prison in October if granted parole, has severed eight years of a nine-to-33 year sentence after his 2008 conviction for armed robbery, kidnapping and other charges.

5. Atlanta United to play D.C. United

Atlanta United will face off against D.C. United on Wednesday evening from Washington D.C.'s RFK Stadium. The game is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on Fox Sports South.
