  • Offensive coordinator Steve Addazio told The Gainesville (Fla.) Sun that it's tough getting reps for all three QBs – John Brantley, Trey Burton and Jordan Reed– in practice. All three played in Saturday's victory over Vanderbilt. Brantley, who is still the starter, gets the majority of the snaps, Addazio said. ... Burton has scored on 11 of his 74 touches. ... Florida is the nation's only team that has four players with kickoff returns of 45 yards or more. Andre Debose, Jeff Demps, Mike Gilleslee and Chris Rainey each have a return of 45-yards-plus this year.

  • Coach Joker Phillips is optimistic that RB Derrick Locke, who has missed the past four games with a shoulder injury, will play Saturday. Locke has 574 yards rushing and seven TDs. ... Versatile junior WR Randall Cobb told The Lexington (Ky.) Herald-Leader that he will consider leaving early for the NFL Draft. ... LB Danny Trevathan leads the SEC with 110 tackles and is eighth nationally in tackles per game with 11.

South Carolina

Next game: at Florida, 7:15 p.m. Saturday, ESPN

  • South Carolina remains thin at CB, but C.C. Whitlock (concussion), who is playing because Chris Culliver (pectoral) is out for the season, should be able to play against Florida. LT Jarriel King (concussion), C T.J. Johnson (knee) and backup QB Connor Shaw (Flowery Branch), who suffered a rib injury on Saturday, should also be able to play against Saturday. ... QB Stephen Garcia can set the school's single-season completion percentage mark. He's currently at 67.7 percent, better than Steve Taneyhill's 67.1 percent in 1995. ... South Carolina is 7-11 in November under coach Steve Spurrier.

  • Tyler Bray threw for 308 yards and five TDs in the first half of his first career start in the win over Memphis last weekend. His totals of five TD passes and 325 yards are school records for a QB in his first start. ... WR Denarius Moore has 12 catches for 331 yards in the past two games. His 228 yards receiving against South Carolina on Oct. 30 are the most in an SEC game this year. ... LG Jarrod Shaw will move to RG for Zach Fulton (ankle), who is doubtful, and JerQuari Schofield will start at LG, according to The Knoxville News-Sentinel.

  • A week after losing leading rusher Warren Norman (Chamblee), the Commodores are without second-leading rusher Zac Stacy, who might miss the rest of the season with a head injury. No. 3 RB Wesley Tate is questionable with an ankle injury, meaning senior Kennard Reeves (Duluth) might start. ... Richard Kent (Walton) is averaging eight punts a game and leads the NCAA with 72 punts. He punted a season-high 12 times against Florida last week. ... The Commodores have attempted just four field goals this season.

  • Alabama will pay $1.2 million to Kent State, $750,000 to North Texas and $400,000 to Georgia Southern to play the Crimson Tide in 2011, The Tuscaloosa (Ala.) News reported. The combined total is $2.35 million. ... RB Mark Ingram scored his 38th career rushing TD last week, second in school history. Shaun Alexander holds the schools record 41 career TDs. ... Alabama has won 18 consecutive games at Bryant-Denny Stadium, tied for the third-longest streak in school history.

  • CB Ramon Broadway will miss the rest of regular season after dislocating an ankle early in Saturday's win at South Carolina. He had started all nine games this season. ... RB Knile Davis is the SEC's offensive player of the week after rushing for 110 yards and three TDs against the SEC's top ranked rushing defense. Davis has rushed for nine TDs this season, fifth in the SEC. ... DT Byran Jones returned to practice earlier this week after missing Saturday's game with an ankle injury.

  • RB Michael Dyer needs 31 yards to break Bo Jackson's freshman rushing record of 829 yards. Dyer is averaging 79.9 yards a game. ... Onterio McCalebb is averaging 9.27 yards a carry, the top mark among RBs ranked in the top 100 in the country. ... Auburn is holding opponents to 25 percent (15-for-60) on third down conversions in the second half and overtime this season.

  • WR Rueben Randle has the top five longest receptions for LSU this season. He had receptions of 75 and 47 yards last week against Alabama, to go with catches of 51, 47 and 39 yards earlier this season. ... Maligned QB Jordan Jefferson is 17-6 as a starter, including 10-1 in games played at Tiger Stadium. ... CBS passed on televising the Arkansas-Mississippi State game at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 20 in favor of airing Mississippi's game at LSU that day.

  • QB Jeremiah Masoli's status for Saturday's game is up in the air after he suffered a concussion against Louisiana-Lafayette last week. Masoli is being tested daily, The Jackson (Miss.) Clarion-Ledger reported. Nathan Stanley would start if Masoli can't play. ... K Bryson Rose has missed only two kicks this season, going 14-for-16 on FG attempts and 36-for-36 on PATs. He kicked five FGs and four PATs in Saturday's victory. ... RBs Brandon Bolden (136) and Enrique Davis (116) each rushed for 100 yards on Saturday, the first time the Rebels have had a pair of 100-yard rushers in the same game since against Georgia in 1999.

  • Mississippi State will play for the first time since DL Nick Bell died from cancer on Nov. 2. The Bulldogs will wear a patch on their jerseys for the rest of the season and a player also will wear Bell's jersey No. 36 in each of the remaining games. Alabama also plans to observe a moment of silence before Saturday's game. ... The Bulldogs are averaging nearly 270 yards rushing a game over the past five games, which were all wins. ... CB Sophomore Corey Broomfield's three career interception returns for TDs lead active players and are the second most in SEC history.
