The SEC, already primed for more television coverage than ever before, also will substantially expand its digital content by the start of football season.

The league said Tuesday it will launch the SEC Digital Network, which will provide access to a wide range of content via the Internet and mobile devices.

Content won't include live games, but the league said full replays and searchable highlights will be available, along with post-game interviews, press conferences and breaking news. Much of the content will be available within minutes of a game's conclusion, the league said. Also available will be nearly 10,000 hours of video from the SEC's library.

The network, being launched in partnership with XOS Digital, will encompass all men's and women's sports.
