The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees scored five runs in the eighth on their way to a 9-4 victory over the host Gwinnett Braves on Thursday night.

Justin Leone broke a 4-4 tie with a two-run homer, and Doug Bernier had a two-out, two-run single.

Making his second Class AAA start, Deunte Heath of the G-Braves gave up three earned runs as he allowed three hits and walked five in 3 1/3 innings. Reliever Boone Logan allowed three earned runs in one-third of an inning and got the loss.
