The Pittsburgh Steelers and offensive coordinator Todd Haley have parted ways amid reports of Haley’s strained relationship with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Andrew Siciliano reported.

Haley’s contract was set to expire after the 2017 season.

Since Haley took over as Steelers offensive coordinator in 2012, Roethlisberger improved his completion percentage (65.2), yards per game (287.4) and passer rating (96.0), according to Rapoport.

To end the 2017 regular season, the Steelers had the NFL’s third-best offense with 377.9 yards per game after the New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints respectively.

Before serving as Pittsburgh’s offensive coordinator, Haley was the head coach at the Kansas City Chiefs and went 19-27 in three seasons.
