Free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick was scheduled to work out with the Seattle Seahawks this week, but his trip has been postponed, according to a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Schefter reported the reason for the postponement of the workout was due to Kaepernick declining to stop kneeling in protest of police brutality and social injustice during the playing of the national anthem should he play this season.

The Seahawks are still is considering bringing Kaepernick to workout for the team, but no decisions are final, Schefter reported an unnamed source said.

Since opting out of his contract with the San Francisco 49ers in March 2017, Kaepernick has not signed with another NFL team.
