Tim Tebow's workout for baseball scout will reportedly draw quite a crowd.

ESPN reports that 20 of baseball's 30 major league franchises will have someone present when the former Heisman Trophy winner puts his baseball skills on display for a tryout Tuesday, Aug. 30, in Los Angeles.

The Atlanta Braves have confirmed will be among the teams in attendance.

It was first reported a few weeks ago that Tebow, who hasn't played organized baseball since his junior year in high school, was pursuing a career as a baseball player. Almost immediately he received a contract offer from an Independent League team in Illinois.

Tebow won two national championships with the University of Florida. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2010, but has not played in the NFL since 2012 with the New York Jets. He went to training camp with the New England Patriots in 2013 and the Philadelphia Eagles in 2015 but did not claim a roster spot either time.

Tebow has reportedly been seriously training for a baseball career for more than a year. He also has spent his time as a college football anaylst, a reality TV host and playing hero aboard Delta flights.
