Quarterback Jay Cutler is planning to retire once again, according to a report Friday by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Cutler, a former Vanderbilt quarterback, played with the Miami Dolphins last season after eight seasons with the Chicago Bears and three with the Denver Broncos.

In his 12-year career, Cutler made two playoff game appearances, both in 2010 with the Bears where he threw for a combined 354 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.

“Ex-Dolphins (quarterback) Jay Cutler is expected to retire (again)... He may be coming to a reality show near you, as will his wife. And of course, there is the Fox interest to join the broadcast booth,” Rapoport wrote.

Cutler first announced his retirement after the 2016 season ended and was expected to become an analyst for Fox, but delayed the beginning of his broadcasting career when signing a one-year deal with the  Dolphins after starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill suffered a knee injury during training camp.

The news of Cutler's planned retirement comes on the same day ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten is considering retirement after 15 years in the League.
