After Tuesday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks where Suzuki hit two home runs, the Braves catcher's July stats improved to a .375 average with six home runs and 11 RBIs.
With the game tied 2-2 and one runner on base in the seventh, Suzuki hit his first home run of the game to deep left field.
Tuesday’s game marked Suzuki’s second game in July where he hit two home runs.
Suzuki’s second home run during Tuesday’s 8-2 win over the Diamondbacks was a solo shot over left field wall during the eighth inning, which extended the Braves lead 7-2.
Suzuki went 2-for-4 at the plate with three RBI on Tuesday.
After Suzuki’s homer, Johan Carmarrgo stepped up to the plate and hit another home run for the Braves final run of the game.
