Relive Freeman’s splash of a home run against Nationals

Although the Braves lost to the Washington Nationals 14-4 on Wednesday night, Freddie Freeman made sure to give fans something to cheer about.
Freeman homered to center field in the third inning and the ball landed with a splash in SunTrust Park’s center field fountain.

With his sixth home run of the season, Freeman reached 12 straight plate appearances— a Braves’ record.

The Braves play the third and final game against the Nationals on Thursday night. The game begins at 7:35 p.m. from SunTrust Park.
