Jonesboro’s Ricardo Clark scored his second goal for Houston this season in Wednesday’s 3-1 loss to San Jose.
Trailing 1-0 in the 43rd minute, Clark ran onto a deflection and, from outside the penalty box, slammed a right-footed shot into the top right corner in what should be a contender for goal of the week.
Clark, a midfielder has made 10 starts for Houston this season. The MLS veteran has played 287 games with 272 starts since breaking into the league with the MetroStars in 2003.
