One of Atlanta United’s jerseys has a sponsor.
As part of an agreement announced on Thursday with SunTrust, the jerseys of Atlanta United's academy teams will feature the bank's logo. The academy will be based at the team's headquarters in Marietta.
SunTrust will be the official bank of the MLS expansion club, whose first team is scheduled to begin play in 2017. Its home will be Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
SunTrust is also a partner with the stadium.
It’s a multi-year deal. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
