ESPN and personality Paul Finebaum have reached a multiyear contract extension, the network announced Friday.

Finebaum, who was reportedly considering offers from other networks if a deal could not be reached with ESPN before his contract expired in July, will continue to appear across several programs on ESPN and SEC Network including "The Paul Finebaum Show" and college football pregame show "SEC Nation."

“I’m thrilled to be a member of the ESPN family and look forward to continuing our show on SEC Network,” Finebaum said in a statement. “I consider myself incredibly blessed to do this every day, and I’d like to thank everyone at ESPN, as well as all of our loyal listeners and viewers, for their support.”

Finebaum will appear on the SEC Network's summer edition of "SEC Nation" on July 15 at SEC Summerfest which will be held at Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park.
