National Lacrosse League suspends play over coronavirus concerns

The National Lacrosse League has temporarily suspended play for its 13 franchises, including the Georgia Swarm based in Gwinnett County, due to concerns over COVID-19.

The NBA and Major League Soccer have also suspended play over COVID-19 while several major college basketball tournaments, including the SEC in Nashville and ACC in Greensboro, N.C., have cancelled play due to health concerns.
