McNair apologizes to Texans; Hopkins and others expected to play Sunday

Texans owner Bob McNair met with players Saturday morning and apologized again for his statement last week, when he said, “we can’t have the inmates running the prison,” at an NFL owners meeting to discuss ongoing protests before games.
McNair, who issued a public apology statement Friday, told the Houston Chronicle, “I know they were upset. I wanted to answer their questions. I told them if I had it to do over again, I wouldn't use that expression."
