After former Peach County High School wide receiver Kearis Jackson played in his first G-Day game Saturday at Sanford Stadium, the freshman sent a message to Georgia fans who showed up.

To the 82,814 fans in attendance— the most at any SEC spring football scrimmage— Jackson wrote on Twitter, “My first spring game was a success and I would like to thank the dawg nation for coming out to support.”

Jackson, a 4-star recruit who was the 23rd best wide receiver in the 2018 recruiting class, had one catch for five years on Saturday.

The 5-foot-11, 203 pound Jackson committed to Georgia in August.
