On Wednesday’s episode of Fox Sports’ “The Herd”, analyst Joel Klatt said based on the way the Tennessee fan base reacted in response to the hiring of Greg Schiano on Sunday, no one should fill the head coaching vacancy.

"I hope no one takes that job because that fan base doesn't deserve anybody,“ Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt. “And you know why? Here’s another part of this: who wants to go there knowing the first time you lose two or three games you’re going to get that type of mob mentality?”

After news broke that Tennessee planned to hire the current Ohio State defensive coordinator, students and fans protested on campus and wrote angry messages on social media about the direction of the program.
