  • The Thrashers will play the second of home-road back-to-back games. The Thrashers played the Sabres on Friday. The Blues, winners of three consecutive games, shut out the Predators on Thursday.
  • Ondrej Pavelec is scheduled to get the start in goal for the Thrashers, his first NHL game since losing consciousness and collapsing 2:25 into the season opener Oct. 8 because of a fainting spell.
  • Blues goaltender Jaroslav Halak has two consecutive shutouts and has not allowed a goal in 151 minutes, 10 seconds. In the Blues' three-game winning streak, he has stopped 78 of 80 shots.
  • The Thrashers won both meetings between the teams last season.
  • Entering Friday's game, the Thrashers (4-4-1) had come from behind in all four of their wins.
