Class A got a shake up this week in the Georgia high school football rankings after Clinch County, the defending champion, lost to previously winless Irwin County 32-31.

Newly ranked are Landmark Christian, Prince Avenue Christian and Bowdon, all 5-0.

Prince Avenue Christian, of Athens, is ranked for the first time since starting varsity football in 2005. It defeated previous No. 10 Athens Academy 18-0 and has allowed only seven points in five games. Landmark replaced Wilkinson County, which was upset by Aquinas of Augusta.

The only other newly ranked team is Baldwin in AAA. The Braves took the place of Mary Persons.
