Macon Co. forfeits; Valdosta QB to play

Macon County must forfeit its Sept. 4 victory over Dooly County for using an ineligible player. Macon County won the game 32-29.

It was not a region game. Macon County drops to 1-5 in Class AA, while Dooly County is now 4-1 in Class A.

In other news, Valdosta quarterback DaShay March will start in tonight's game at Lowndes, according to Valdosta coach Rick Tomberlin.

March couldn't finish last week's game against Colquitt County due to an injury first suffered the week before against Warner Robins.
