Creekside, Woodward Academy, St. Pius and Decatur made big jumps in the high school football rankings after upset victories last week.

Creekside is No. 2 in the Class 5A rankings, up four places, after beating previous No. 3 Westlake 27-20. Creekside also has a victory over No. 6 Colquitt County of 7A. Creekside has not been ranked higher since its 2013 Class 4A championship season.

Woodward Academy jumped four places to No. 4 in 5A after a 14-9 victory over defending Class 4A champion Marist, which remained at No. 2 in 4A.

St. Pius entered the 5A rankings at No. 7 after a 21-14 victory over previous No. 4 Blessed Trinity, which is No. 9 despite a 1-2 start.

Decatur is ranked for the first time, at No. 10 in 5A, since 2004 after beating Greater Atlanta Christian 38-14.

The eight No. 1-ranked teams remained the same for the first time this season. Cedar Grove of 3A lost 28-19 to Colquitt County but remained in place.
