Harry the Hawk, the energetic prankster, will likely need no more "nest rest," and is listed as probable for tonight's playoff game against the Boston Celtics at Philips Arena.

“Harry fully understands the importance of tonight’s pivotal Game 5! He’s doing all he can to be ready for the team and the fans,” said Steve Koonin, CEO, Atlanta Hawks & Philips Arena in a statement released to The AJC “He’s been upgraded to probable, so we’re hopeful Harry can give it a go tonight. With a primetime 8:30 p.m. tipoff, Harry and our fans will have extra time to prepare to cheer the Hawks to a victory.”

During last Tuesday’s night game against the Boston Celtics at Philips Arena, the beloved mascot was attempting to jump between railings when he slipped and fell with his legs wide open, suffering an unfortunate accident.

The next day, the Atlanta Hawks organization released a video update on Harry the Hawk’s prognosis.

After a battery of tests and examinations by the team doctors, Harry was placed on the injury report as “Questionable” for playoff Games 3 and 4 in Boston against the Celtics last weekend. Harry was limited to strict “nest rest” in hopes of having him back in the lineup for a Game 5 in Atlanta (if needed) tonight.

After the two consecutive losses to the Celtics, a game 5 is needed. And let's face it: Harry the Hawk is needed, too.
