Gwinnett starter Tommy Hanson struck out nine in six innings to outduel Toledo's Jeremy Bonderman in the Braves 7-2 win at home Thursday night.

Bonderman, a Detroit Tigers pitcher making a rehabilitation start, kept the Braves scoreless for five innings before giving up five runs — three earned — in the sixth. He gave up six hits, including Brooks Conrad's two-run homer, and struck out four in six innings.

Hanson allowed one hit and one walk in six scoreless innings.
