With a career high in tackles on Saturday, Georgia Tech linebacker Quez Jackson is now sixth in FBS in tackles per game. Jackson was credited with 16 total tackles in the Yellow Jackets’ 26-17 loss to Virginia Tech, raising his season average to 10.4 tackles per game. It’s also good for the highest average in the ACC.

Running back Jahymr Gibbs is likewise tied for sixth in FBS in all-purpose yards per game at 151.9 yards per game. Gibbs has gone over 150 all-purpose yards in each of the past four games, including a career-high 223 yards against the Hokies. He is second in the ACC behind Syracuse’s Sean Tucker, who leads FBS with 167.2 yards.

Jackson’s teammate Ayinde Eley is third in the ACC with 9.5 tackles per game. Eley also had 16 tackles, also a career high. The last Jackets player to lead the ACC in tackles per game was Keyaron Fox in 2003 with 11.9 tackles per game.
