Georgia Tech lands 3-star defensive end Julius Welschof

Julius Welschof announced his commitment to Georgia Tech Wednesday on Twitter.

The 3-star defensive end from Germany received his offer from Georgia Tech just two days before his commitment.

Welschof received offers from Minnesota, Connecticut, Iowa State and 11 other schools, according to 247Sports.
Georgia Tech has previously recruited an international defensive linemen. Adam Gotsis, an Australian who became a star at Georgia Tech, was drafted in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft by Denver.
