Georgia State’s Hunter earns conference award

Georgia State’s R.J. Hunter was named the Sun Belt player of the week on Monday.
Hunter is averaging 26.8 points per game during the past five games on 55.6-percent shooting. He has hit 25-of-50 3-pointers and 29-of-31 free throws.
Hunter, a sophomore, scored 30 points in Saturday’s 73-63 win against South Alabama and 25 in the 81-72 win against Troy at the Sports Arena.
