It came down to penalty kicks. Held scoreless through regulation and overtime, Georgia Perimeter College converted three of four penalty kicks while Tyler (Tex.) College made all five to win the National Junior College Athletic Association soccer championship in West Windsor, N.J.

Georgia Perimeter (22-2), making a sixth straight trip to the national playoffs, has now finished runner-up three times -- 2004. 2007 and 2009 -- to go with the championship the Jaguars won in 2005. Tyler finished the season 21-0.
