Georgia native Zerrick Cooper transferred from Clemson to Jacksonville State.

The quarterback was in the ESPN Top 300 and was named the fourth best overall prospect in Georgia before committing to Clemson.

Cooper had 256 passing yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions over 10 games as a redshirt freshman last season.

Cooper recently returned to Clemson to be honored with last year’s team that earned its third consecutive trip to the College Football Playoff. Cooper was honored with the seniors as he was no longer with the program.
