After defeating Appalachian State 31-10 in their season opener, the Georgia Bulldogs landed the No. 15 spot on ESPN’s Week One Power Rankings.

After suffering a knee injury in the game, starting quarterback and sophomore Jacob Eason is not expected to start against Notre Dame on Saturday.

Freshman Jake Fromm entered the game near the end of the first quarter and threw 10 of 15 for 143 yards and one touchdown in Georgia’s win for Appalachian State.

"Jacob Eason's injury and a tricky foe (Appalachian State) didn't faze Georgia," ESPN's Adam Rittenberg wrote. "Jake Fromm filled in well and the defense nearly posted a shutout."
