Georgia running back Kenny McIntosh was arrested and charged with two misdemeanors after being involved in a traffic accident early Sunday, according to Athens-Clarke County police records.

McIntosh was charged with not wearing a seat belt and reckless driving. He was not injured in the accident. McIntosh was arrested at 5:45 a.m. and released an hour later on a $2,000 bond.

McIntosh, 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, rushed for 328 yards and three touchdowns last season. He returns for his third season and will be Georgia’s leading returning rusher next season.

During last week’s G-Day game, McIntosh had six carries for 26 yards and four catches for 48 yards.
