It was coming eventually for junior wide receiver Brad Stewart.

In the third quarter of Saturday's Georgia Tech-Virginia Tech contest at Bobby Dodd Stadium the Yellow Jackets receiver recorded his first career touchdown.

Facing a third-and-17 from the Jackets’ 40-yard line, quarterback TaQuon Marshall dropped back to pass. He got great protection from his offensive line and connected with Stewart, who was streaking open deep across the middle of the field.

The pitch-and-catch went for 60 yards and gave the Jackets a 21-9 lead less than three minutes into the second half.
