Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman got a little extra help from his center Alex Mack in the NFC Wild Card Game.

In the second quarter of Saturday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams in the L.A. Coliseum, the Falcons got great field position to begin a drive when the Rams fumbled a kickoff at their 32-yard line.

The Falcons took over already up 6-0 and seven plays later were down at the Rams 3-yard line. Freeman took the second down handoff and ran straight up the middle. He was met right at the goalline by a Rams’ defender.

Seeing this Mack decided he needed to help his running back out. Instead of giving Freeman an extra push, he full-on tackled Freeman into the end zone, ensuring the Falcons would score the touchdown. Atlanta went up 13-0 with 11:40 left in the second quarter.
