UPDATE: Small glitch during blast, leaves two Georgia Dome sections standing
Some 4,800 pounds of explosives have been placed in the Georgia Dome to bring down the building Monday morning.
The Dome – the home of the Falcons and many other sports events over the past 25 years – is scheduled for implosion at 7:30 a.m. Monday.
