Sunday afternoon's Los Angeles Rams-New Orleans Saints controversial finish drew a 27.1 overnight rating (or about 31.2 mllion viewers) nationwide — making it the lowest rating for the early conference championship game since 2013.
That 2013 matchup featured the San Francisco 49ers and Atlanta Falcons in the NFC title game in Atlanta.
In Los Angeles, the game drew less interest (2.1 million vs. 2.5 million) than the AFC Championship between the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots.
In LA, 2.1 million watched Rams - Saints while 2.5 million watched Pats - Chiefs.

The Chiefs-Patriots drew an immense rating of 31.2, or 53.9 million million viewers, as the late game. It was the second most-watched AFC Championship Game in the past 42 years, according to Nielsen.
