Saints’ Thomas now questionable to face Falcons

Saints Pro Bowl wide receiver Michael Thomas was added to the injury report with a hamstring injury on Saturday and is now questionable to play against the Falcons at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

In the previous meeting, Thomas was targeted 14 times and caught 10 passes for 117 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons’ 20-17 victory on Dec. 7.

Thomas, a second-year player, is the Saints leading receiver with 94 catches for 1,085 yards and five touchdowns.

Thomas practiced fully all week and was not on the injury report released by the Saints on Friday.

Ted Ginn Jr. has recovered from a rib injury and is expected to play. He’s the Saints second-leading wide receiver with 46 catches for 678 yards and three touchdowns.

The Saints also have Brandon Coleman (23 catches for 364 yards and three touchdowns), Willie Snead (seven catches for 86 yards), Tommylee Lewis (10 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown) and Austin Carr on the roster.
