The Falcons appear intent on getting bigger along the offensive line, as they signed offensive guard Adam Gettis to a one-year contract Wednesday, the team confirmed.

Linebacker Kemal Ishmael, who's been a mainstay on special teams, was re-signed to a one-year contract.

Gettis, 6-foot-3 and 315 pounds, was a fifth-round pick by Washington in 2012.

He’s been trying to stick in the league since and has played in 17 games and made one start after stints with three other teams.

Gettis, 30, played in three games and made one start for the Giants last season. He’s also spent time with Pittsburgh.

The Falcons also signed guards James Carpenter (321 pounds) and Jamon Brown (340 pounds) in free agency.

Ishmael played in all 16 games last season and recorded 10 tackles. He was second on the team with 11 special-teams tackles.

Ishmael was drafted as a safety in the seventh round of the 2013 draft, but was converted to linebacker in 2015.
