Cardinals CB Patrick Peterson vs. Falcons WR Julio Jones: Peterson demanded that he get Jones in one-on-one coverage this week. Jones and Peterson have faced each other once in the NFL. Jones had three catches for 33 yards on seven targets during a 23-19 Falcons victory in 2012. Jones didn't play in the Falcons' 27-13 loss at Arizona last season because he was recovering from foot surgery. Jones has 72 catches (tied for fourth in the league) for 980 yards (tied for seventh) and four touchdowns (tied for 37th).

Cardinals WR John Brown vs. Falcons CB Josh Wilson: With Larry Fitzgerald out, Brown, a rookie, played a bigger role against Seattle last week. He caught three passes for 61 yards. He has 37 catches for 529 yards and leads the Cardinals with five touchdown catches. The Cardinals picked Brown in the third round of the NFL draft out of Pittsburg (Kan.) State. With injuries to Robert Alford and Robert McClain, Josh Wilson was pressed into duty.

Cardinals NT Dan Williams vs. Falcons C James Stone: The Cardinals' defense is stout with Williams, who has 22 tackles and one sack, anchoring the middle, The Cardinals posted seven sacks and 11 tackles for loss, while holding Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch to 39 yards on 15 carries. Stone, the third Falcons starting center this season, has been solid and will get help from the guards as he tries to control the disruptive Williams.
