A brief look at the Patriots’ 28-24 victory against the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX at the University of Phoenix Stadium at Glendale, Ariz., on Sunday night:

How the game was won: New England cornerback Malcolm Butler intercepted Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson's pass, which was intended for wide receiver Ricardo Lockette in the end zone, with 20 seconds left. Butler returned his pick 3 yards. The Patriots were able to run out the clock after melee broke out. Seattle's Bruce Irvin was ejected from the game.

Turning point: New England quarterback Tom Brady shook off two earlier interceptions and led the Patriots on a 64-yard touchdown drive. He tossed a 3-yard touchdown pass to Julian Edelman with 2:02 left to play.

By the numbers: 4. Brady tossed four touchdowns passes to move past Joe Montana for the most touchdown passes in Super Bowl history with 13.

It's history: Bill Belichick joined Chuck Noll as the only coach to take the same team to four Super Bowl titles. Also, Brady joined Montana and Terry Bradshaw as the quarterbacks to win four Super Bowls.

MVP: Tom Brady, who also set the record for most completions in a Super Bowl with 37, is going to Disney World.
