Matt Ryan on facing Washington:

Q: Will there be extra incentive to get a win for Kyle Shanahan this Sunday:

A: Dan Quinn talks about it all the time, regardless of the situation, or who we're going against, we don't make anything up. We do what we do. I think Kyle (Shanahan) is very much that same way. Obviously, you know, he spent time in Washington and has ties there.

Q: What will be the emphasis for the offense against Washington, which is a good running team?

A: Obviously, Washington has run the ball really effectively this year. I think we have, too. From an offensive standpoint, I don't think it changes for us. Every time that we touch the ball, it's about scoring points. We have to find ways to do that. Throwing the ball, running the ball or doing whatever it takes to get the ball in the end zone. That approach doesn't change. Regardless of who you are going against, you've got to find ways to get in the end zone.

Q: What does your film review tell you about Washington’s defensive front?

A: This defense is big. They are stout. They are strong and physical against the run. They are very sound with what they do. They are not going to give you a ton of different looks. What they do, they do well and they are rarely out of position. It's a really good defense.
