The Kansas City Chiefs downgraded wide receiver Jeremy Maclin from questionable to out on Saturday.

The Chiefs (8-3) and the Falcons (7-4) are set to play at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Georgia Dome.

Maclin, who’s battling a groin injury that he first suffered against Jacksonville on Nov. 6, has 30 catches for 376 yards and two touchdowns this season.

Maclin has missed the three previous games. He was limited in all three practices before being initially declared questionable on Friday.

Falcons coach Dan Quinn took note when Maclin returned to practice on Wednesday.

“What we know is part of the offense was certainly there when Maclin was there and who shifts into what roles,” Quinn aid. “Like a lot of teams, they’ve got a lot versatility with their receiver core and how do you position the guys and where are they at to try to make some plays based on the coverages that you’re getting. We’re anticipating him playing. When you get back at practice early in the week you’d anticipate him going so we are.”
