Falcons center Alex Mack is reserving his judgment on rookie offensive linemen Chris Lindstrom and Kaleb McGary, the team’s first-round draft picks this year.

“We need to see the pads on first,” Mack said Thursday. “They’ve got the right attitude. They are here, ready to work and eager to learn. That is one of the most important things you can have.”

Mack is ready for the minicamp, which is set for Tuesday through Thursday.

“It went fast though,” Mack said of his offseason. “We’re almost done and we have minicamp next week. It flew by.”

In addition to the rookies, the Falcons have four other new offensive lineman in veterans James Carpenter, Jamon Brown, Adam Gettis and John Wetzel.

“We have a lot of new guys, so it’s been useful to be here at the OTAs and get a lot of work with the guys and try to get guys up to speed and hopefully when can really hit the ground running when camp comes,” Mack said.
