Falcons SS William Moore vs. Seahawks TE Zach Miller: The Seahawks are still trying to incorporate Miller into the offense. The former Oakland Raider was considered the top pass-catching tight end available in free agency. He ranks as one of the top tight ends in receiving yards since his second season in the NFL (2008), with 187 catches for 2,309 yards, He's 75 yards behind Indianapolis' Dallas Clark for fifth place.
Falcons LT Sam Baker vs. Seahawks DEs Red Bryant/Raheem Brock: Baker suffered an ankle injury against Tampa Bay and was limited in practice Wednesday. Baker has been battling, but has had tough assignments against Chicago's Julius Peppers, Philadelphia's Trent Cole and Tampa Bay's Adrian Clayborn. Bryant plays end on run downs and then slides inside to tackle on passing downs. Brock, who had nine sacks last season, comes in to rush the passer. They help anchor a line that has allowed only 2.7, 3.5 and 3.2 yards per carry through the first three games.
Falcons coverage units vs. Seahawks KR/PR Leon Washington: Washington became the first player in NFL history to return three kickoffs for touchdowns in two different seasons (2007, 2010). Last season against the Chargers, he became the 10th player in NFL history to return two kickoffs for touchdowns in a game. The Falcons already have faced Chicago's Devin Hester and Philadelphia's DeSean Jackson, two of the most lethal return men in the NFL. Washington averages 21.5 yards on kickoff returns and 7.7 on punt returns this season, but has not scored a touchdown.
