Falcons CB Desmond Trufant vs. Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr.: Trufant had a pass breakup on one of the few passes Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford threw in his direction. He'll line up on the left side, but will have some time 1-on-1 with Beckham, who caught five passes for 44 yards in the loss to Dallas. Beckham, who was the 12th player taken in the 2014 draft out of LSU, had 91 catches for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns in 12 games as a rookie last season.

Falcons RB Tevin Coleman vs. Giants MLB Uani' Unga: Coleman, a rookie, rushed for 80 yards on 20 carries in his NFL debut. Unga made his first start in place of Jon Beason against Dallas. Coleman used his speed to get outside in the Falcons' new outside-zone scheme. He also ran with some power between the tackles. Unga played all 71 snaps against Dallas and led the Giants with 12 tackles and had an interception.

Falcons WR Julio Jones vs. Giants CBs Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Prince Amukamara: Jones was a force against the Eagles when left in 1-on-1 coverage. He showed his speed, explosiveness and route-running ability to shake free. Rodgers-Cromartie and Amukamara, who will likely rotate on Jones, held up well against Dallas in the opener. Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo likely won't leave Jones in single coverage.
