After beating the Packers in the NFC championship game on Sunday, the Falcons didn’t know yet who they’d face in the Super Bowl.

Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones said it wouldn’t matter.

Jones said that if the Falcons continue playing at a high level, they would defeat the Patriots or Steelers in the Super Bowl on Feb. 5.

“Yeah, I would say so,” Jones said as the Patriots or Steelers were playing the AFC championship game in New England. “Because at the end of the day it doesn’t matter about who we are playing and what we are doing. It’s all about us. If we go out there and don’t have any mistakes or things setting us back, most definitely (we will win).”

The Packers can attest to just how difficult it is to stop the Falcons.

"We ran into a buzzsaw," Packers coach Mike McCarthy said. "Those guys performed great and we didn't have enough to keep up with them with where we are."
