Injury report: Riley, Tripp to miss practice Wednesday

The Falcons will be relatively healthy when they face the New York Jets at 1 p.m. Sunday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

“From an injury standpoint Duke Riley will be out this week and Jordan Tripp is still in the concussion protocol,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn said on Wednesday.

Riley suffered a knee injury against the Patriots and the rookie linebacker is expected to more time. Tripp, a linebacker, is in the concussion protocol.

Linebacker Sean Weatherspoon was signed on Tuesday and LaRoy Reynolds (pectoral injury) could return by the Carolina game.

The team will release its full official injury report after practice.
