Todd Gurley says it was Georgia – and no one else.

The Rams and former Bulldogs running back is back in the state where he starred collegiately. The Rams face the Patriots in Super Bowl LIII at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday.

During NFL Opening Night on Monday, a reporter asked Gurley about his college choice.

The exchange went like this:

Reporter: Why did you choose Georgia?

Gurley: Because they are the best school in America so I kind of wanted to pick them.

Reporter: Who was second?

Gurley: Nobody else.

Gurley played three seasons at Georgia before leaving for the NFL. He rushed for 3,285 yards before skipped his senior season.

Gurley was drafted by the Rams in 2014 with the 10th overall pick. He is a three-time Pro Bowler and two-time first team All-Pro.
