TAMPA — On the fifth play of the game, the Falcons tried to throw deep down the field to tight end Jacob Tamme, but the pass was overthrown.

Quarterback Matt Ryan has been solid throwing the ball deep this season, but the Falcons have done it often.

Ryan has attempted just 31 deep passes all season, ranking 28th among all quarterbacks.

His accuracy percentage on these throws however is 48.4%, fifth highest, according to Pro Football Focus’ numbers.

Wide receiver Julio Jones has been thrown 100 catchable balls so far, most in the league ahead of Pittsburgh’s Antonio Brown with 90.

He has dropped six, giving him a drop rate of 6 percent. By comparison, Mike Evans drops one in almost five catchable balls at 19.67 percent.
