The Falcons signed defensive end Jonathan Woodard to the practice squad on Wednesday.

Tight end Joshua Perkins was placed on the practice squad injured list.

Woodard, 6-foot-6 and 287 pounds, played at Central Arkansas and was a seventh-round pick of the Jaguars in 2016. He worked out with the Falcons on Oct. 2.

He spent last season on the physically unable to perform list after suffering a ruptured Achilles while with Jacksonville.
