Falcons sign linebacker Wells, waive Tovell

Falcons signed linebacker Matt Wells and released Dominique Tovell shortly before practice on Tuesday.

Wells, 25, played at Mississippi State. He was drafted in the sixth-round (178th) by New England in the 2015 draft. He also has been in camp with the St. Louis Rams.
